As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a Riser Engineer.
Within the HQ Pipelines & Risers (PLR) team, the position holder will provide support in installation engineering, operations, and decommissioning for subsea pipelines, risers, umbilicals, spools/jumpers, cables, and structures related to SURF systems for offshore projects in both conventional and deep waters.
The scope includes support during various project phases (design, engineering, tendering, on-site installation, commissioning, etc.), R&D, decommissioning, and integrity interventions.
Objectives and Deliverables :
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and international regulations ;
- Supervise and approve technical documentation issued by contractors ;
- Support on-site installation activities while meeting HSEQ, cost, and scheduling requirements ;
- Monitor testing activities (FAT, EFAT, SIT, pre-commissioning) performed by contractors ;
- Review contractor-proposed vessels and organize audits/inspections for the approval of marine equipment.
- Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience, including more than 5 years in SURF project supervision.
- Participation in a recent offshore cable installation project in deep waters.
