Our Team:
The Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PSPV) aspiration is to be a cutting-age safety group, to enable us to optimize the benefit-risk profiles of our therapies, so we can best serve patients, care givers and health care professionals and other stakeholders in the context of legal matters.
The Medico-Legal Pharmacovigilance Expert is part of an international, dynamic, and culturally diverse team and provides medical safety expertise based on deep knowledge, up to date methodologies and robust understanding of legal matters related to patient safety.
Main responsibilities:
The Medico-Legal Pharmacovigilance Expert:
- Is the safety expert and safety lead for claims dossiers of products under litigations, responsible for providing medical safety analysis
- He/she will be responsible for providing detailed medical safety analysis and written evidence related to safety data and up to date scientific literature
- He/she will be responsible for reviewing and validating medical aspects of responses prepared by external legal teams
- He/she will be responsible for preparing and actively participating in medical assessment meetings with legal counsel for individual civil proceedings
About you
Experience/education:
- Medical Doctor with board certification in Pediatric Neurology
- A background in Epileptology and genetic is a strong advantage
- The ideal candidate will have substantial clinical experience, particularly in a hospital setting, demonstrating expertise in managing complex neurological conditions in children
- Previous involvement in medico-legal cases or a strong interest in legal and regulatory aspects of healthcare
Soft skills:
- Excellent communicator with attention to details while seeing the big picture and able to communicate complex clinical issues and analysis orally and in writing
- Self–motivated, able to prioritize and plan work independently even under pressure
- Proven leadership skills with robust organizational and planning capabilities and demonstrates leadership within cross-functional team environment
- Strong team player who drives seamless collaboration in a cross functional matrix structure
- Solution oriented, inspiring team members to achieve best results while creating a positive and stimulating environment
- Open to learn and to use digital and innovative solutions in a changing environment
Technical skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking including evaluation, interpretation and synthesis of scientific/medical data and non-scientific relevant contextual information
- Excellent clinical judgment
Languages:
- French native speaker, full professional English language proficiency
